There is a gentle battle brewing which will be an undercurrent at next month’s ‘Smarter Travel’ conference in Milton Keyes. I call it a gentle battle because it is partly a competition for the meaning of words, a dispute that is rarely resolved except by usage, can take quite a long time, and may not affect the underlying reality of things.
