A smartcard ticketing system has been introduced on the ULink bus services in Bristol operated on behalf of the University of the West of England by Wessex Connect. Passengers using a smartcard benefit from a reduced fare. A smartcard can be obtained from the university for £1 and passengers can top up the card’s value by paying the driver.
