Wiltshire County Council this week signalled its intention to revive plans for the A350 Westbury bypass just five months after the Government and a public inquiry inspector rejected the controversial plans.
The council’s performance director Sharon Britton will tell the cabinet next week (24th) that the Government’s rejection of the planning application for the £33m Eastern bypass has merely “put back the implementation of this project”.
