Local authorities in central Scotland are to urge the Scottish Government to complete a ‘missing link’ between the M8 and M9 motorways.
Falkirk, West Lothian and SEStran (the South East Scotland transport partnership) are to jointly urge ministers to authorise the A801 River Avon Gorge project, a £26.6m scheme for 3.2km (two miles) of new road and a single span bridge over the River Avon.
