Neal Lawson has been appointed as the managing director of First Capital Connect. He succeeds First rail division head Mary Grant, who has been covering the role since the departure of interim managing director Jim Morgan in November.
Lawson joined First Capital Connect last May and has been working as engineering and new trains director, responsible for the delivery of the next generation of rolling stock for the £5.5bn Thameslink scheme.
