Bagshaw joined Arriva Trains Wales in 2005, initially as performance and planning director. The key challenge at the time was to improve operational performance. With performance now significantly improved, his focus, as commercial director, is growing passenger numbers and working with the Welsh Assembly Government on their investment programme for rail in Wales.
