National Express has today confirmed the appointment of Neil Barker, the managing director of the group's UK bus division to the new role of European development director.

The change has also seen the recruitment of Dave Kaye, the former chief operating officer of First's UK bus division, as Barker's successor. He will take up his new role from Monday.

Kaye is an experienced transport specialist who has been in the industry since 1979. He has held a number of senior management appointments...
