Car club permits increase by 50% in Wandsworth

Wandsworth has set the permit fee for car clubs at £1,080 a year, a 50% increase on the previous charge of £720.

The £720 fee was already the highest charge in the country, with Kensington & Chelsea being the only other in London to exceed £500. The London borough says most boroughs charge car clubs £200 or less for each permit and some do not charge a permit fee at all.
