Bus operator First has stepped in to secure the continuation of the city centre shuttle bus in Leeds following the withdrawal of funding from the city council.
First will run the high frequency service as a commercial operation on a trial basis until the end of August, charging a 50p flat fare. It is also allowing passengers with bus tickets from other operators to travel on the service free of charge.
