Conwy and Denbighshire councils are to reverse their existing joint delivery of highways services and replace their joint head of highways with individual heads of service.
The two authorities rejected the case for building on their existing integration of discrete sub-service areas such as street lighting to establish a fully integrated joint highways and infrastructure service because the costs would be “prohibitive” (LTT 7 Dec).
