The DfT has approved a new type of illuminated road stud for use in the UK following a 12-month trial on the trunk road at Hindhead Tunnel. Clearview Traffic Group received notification of the DfT type approval for the Astucia IRS2 hardwired intelligent road stud conceived to meet the requirements of the £371m A3 Hindhead tunnel project in Surrey.
