London's Cycle hire scheme was expanded south-westwards this week to include parts of Hammersmith & Fulham, Wandsworth, Lambeth and Kensington & Chelsea.
The extension features 150 docking stations and 2,000 new bicycles around places such as Clapham Junction, Hammersmith, Fulham and Putney. The scheme now covers more than 100 square kilometres.
The expansion comes as Barclays announced it will withdraw from sponsoring bike hire and cycle superhighways in 2015. London...
