Bus service withdrawals, higher fares and staff cuts are among the ways South Yorkshire PTE plans to cope with a 9.7% cut to its budget from April.
The Integrated Transport Authority was this week meeting to approve a like-for-like reduction of £8.3m (9.7%) in the ITA levy paid by districts next year. The levy in 2013/14 is £86m but falls next year to £76m.
