HS2 Ltd has presented scaled- down plans for the HS2 station at Euston to community groups.
Ministers originally proposed a total rebuild of the station but dropped the idea in 2013 in favour of accommodating HS2 services in new platforms built on the west side of the station. This features in the hybrid Bill for the London-West Midlands route.
Last spring the Government had a rethink, calling for a complete rebuild, but late last year this was revealed as unaffordable (LTT 28 Nov 14).
