In response to Phil Sulley’s letter about ‘chains’ of cyclists delaying drivers on rural roads (Letters LTT 24 Jul), I’d add that, here in London SW20, and I’d assume other urban areas, and indeed rural areas too, we have increasing numbers of long strings of motorists (usually hauling four empty seats on very short journeys).
