As it is extraordinarily unlikely that Malcolm Bulpitt has never exceeded a speed limit even by 1mph, even by mistake, his sanctimonious advice about observing speed limits (Letters LTT 01 Apr) appears to be based more on luck than innocence. More importantly, it is he who appears “not to understand the situation” – that in this (for the time being) free and democratic country, it is not only our right but also our duty to challenge bad laws.
