The first occupiers of thousands of future new homes in Cardiff will be offered a year’s free bus travel.
Concerns have previously been expressed about the road network’s capacity to accommodate additional car journeys arising from the city’s expansion. The City of Cardiff Council’s local development plan (LDP) aims to reduce the proportion of journeys made by car so that there is a 50:50 split between car and ‘sustainable’ modes by 2026.
