An accreditation scheme for retrofitting bus engines with emission reduction technology is to be launched by the Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership (LowCVP). The Clean Vehicle Retrofit Accreditation Scheme (CVRAS) will provide assurance to councils that vehicles fitted with the technologies meet emission standards for charging Clean Air Zones and can therefore enter the zones for free.
