Your correspondent Rod King suggests that the use of speed data from TomTom devices has biased the analysis published by the DfT on 20mph speed limit schemes (Letters LTT 01 Mar).
He suggests “those purchasing high-end TomToms would predominantly be delivery vehicles, premium car brands and those on time critical journeys” and hence might be ignoring speed limits.
