Thurrock council is to terminate three transport and highway service contracts two years early because spending on one is likely to exceed procurement rules.
Thurrock entered three contracts in 2017 that were due to run to 2023: a £40m term maintenance and highway improvement contract; a £2m engineering professional services contract; and a £1.35m structures consultancy contract.
