The Scottish Government has paid £65m to settle a dispute with the contractors for the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route.
Transport Scotland awarded a £745m design, build and maintain contract for the road in 2014 to Aberdeen Roads Ltd (ARL), a joint venture of Balfour Beatty, Carillion and Galliford Try. The contract includes maintaining the road for 30 years from completion.
