The Government has approved a Class C charging clean air zone for Sheffield city centre.
The CAZ will cover the city’s inner ring road and the city centre, including Park Square and the A61/Parkway junction. It is due for implementation early next year.
Non-compliant taxis, private hire vehicles, and vans will have to pay £10 a day and non-compliant coaches, buses and lorries will have to pay £50 a day. The plan also includes:
