Labour wants the Government to publish guidance for the bus industry on social distancing to protect passengers and drivers from contracting Covid-19.
Shadow transport secretary Jim McMahon has written to transport secretary Grant Shapps urging the Government to act. As well as calling for advice on passenger social distancing (see front page), McMahon says guidance is needed on whether drivers should be handling cash or if there should now be a total ban on using cash on buses.
