Construction of a fifth platform has been completed at Stevenage station on the East Coast Main Line in Hertfordshire. The platform will be used by Hertford Loop local services, freeing up capacity on the other platforms for Great Northern, Thameslink, and LNER services. The investment has cost £40m.
