Bristol City Council hopes to persuade ministers to drop their insistence that the council must introduce two charging clean air zones (CAZs).

Bristol believes the CAZs may not be necessary because Covid-19 and traffic management measures have fundamentally changed travel patterns and possibly reduced nitrogen dioxide concentrations below legal limits.
