Transport for London was still in negotiations with the Government about a second emergency Covid-19 financial package as LTT closed for press (Thursday 15th).
Sky News reported that the Government was stipulating that, in return for £1bn, London mayor Sadiq Khan must extend the congestion charge up to the north and south circular roads; increase public transport fares; and reduce the generosity of concessions for the elderly and young.
