Scottish logistics firm Russell Group has submitted a planning application to North Lanarkshire Council for a new headquarters and rail-served warehousing complex on the former site of Ravenscraig steelworks. If the plans are approved, construction would begin towards the end of 2021 with the first phase of the development expected to be completed by early 2023 and the works completed in 2026.
