Leicestershire County Council has criticised proposed arrangements for bus services to serve a major new housing development in Melton Mowbray.
Melton Borough Council sent Leicestershire a draft masterplan for the Melton North Sustainable Neighbourhood in October.
Leicestershire has responded saying: “There appears to be no provision for a bus to be able to penetrate any part of the development until the spine road is complete at some point during Phase 3.
