Leeds City Council has published the brief for a design competition to end the traffic dominated environment in City Square.
City Square is the first experience most rail travellers have of Leeds after stepping out the railway station, which lies on the southern side of the square. Despite public realm works over the years, the square remains a heavily trafficked environment with up to four lanes of traffic in places.
