First West of England has appointed Doug Claringbold as its new managing director, succeeding James Freeman who retires on 31 March. Claringbold was global services director with private hire and chauffeur business Addison Lee Group from 2017 until November last year. Before that he was chief operating officer with Tristar Worldwide Chauffeur Services from 2001, and operations manager of Heathrow Express from 1996 to 1999....
