Herefordshire Council has dropped plans for two controversial new roads in Hereford.
Councillors this week voted to remove the Hereford Western bypass and Southern Link road from the capital programme.
The Western bypass would have connected the A49 trunk road north of the city with the A465 to the southwest. The Southern Link road would connect the A465 to the A49 south of the city.
