Plug-in vehicle registrations accounted for more than a fifth of overall vehicle sales in January. Some 115,087 new cars were registered, according to figures from the the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT).
Plug-in vehicles comprised over 20% of overall vehicle sales last month, with battery-electric vehicles (BEV) accounting for 12.5% of all new car registrations.
