The roll-out electric vehicles has helped West Yorkshire Combined Authority (WYCA) tackle air pollution in the region. WYCA has worked in partnership with EQUANS, the new name for ENGIE’s services-led activities to roll out 85 free-to-use EV chargers.
To date, the partnership has enabled drivers to save 2,164 tonnes of CO2 and has dispensed 2.7 million kilowatt hours of green energy – enough to power a typical EV around the planet 380 times.
