Electric vehicle battery manufacturer Britishvolt is raising more funds to enable it to create a dedicated research and development centre.

The gigafactory company is set launch its Series C fundraise, led by BofA, Citi and Peel Hunt. Lazard is acting as financial advisor to the company.

The fundraise will be offered to both existing and new institutional and strategic investors, with the intention to raise approximately £200m.

Britishvolt launches new funding round
