EV chargepoint operator Ubitricity has appointed that Daniel Kunkel as its new chief executive. After a brief transition and handover phase, current CEO Lex Hartman will leave Ubitricity at the end of January 2022.
Hartman joined Ubitricity in May 2019 with a plan to move the company from a proprietary mobile metering charging system to an interoperable standard. This strategy was bolstered by new funding that came with Shell’s acquisition of Ubitricity in January 2021
