Auction houses call on DVLA to modernise vehicle registration process

The National Association of Motor Auctions (NAMA) has written to the Department for Transport and the Home Office urging the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) to modernise the vehicle registration system within auction houses.

NAMA’s letter outlined how delays of up to six months in processing registrations for vehicles sold at auction is creating a costly loophold.
