Peterborough park trust refunds parking charges after error

Nene Park Trust in Peterborough is to refund visitors parking fees after a system error.

The trust apologised and said a number of visitors may have paid about £1.50 extra because of a fault on its system between May and June.

It has invited visitors to claim refunds following the error at the Ferry Meadows site in Peterborough.

The visitors affected were those who were close to a tariff change threshold and that the issue was remedied with a software upgrade.
