Nottingham City Council has removed a chess table from a car park after criticism.
The chequered table and seating was installed at Winchester Street Car Park in Sherwood in December.The council said the chess table was a feature of an E-Mobility Hub, one of six it is installing around the city. The hubs offer bike storage and electric vehicle (EV) chargers.
