A trial of low-speed electric delivery vehicles is underway at the University of Warwick. The Last Mile Logistics Project, a partnership between the university and Transport for West Midlands (TfWM), is being funded by the West Midlands Innovation Programme, part of the region's Innovation Accelerator.

Researchers aim to work with the DfT to see how data and learnings from the trials can help understand the barriers to making the vehicles legal to use on UK roads and cycle lanes.
