Metrobus loses five contracts

THE LATEST tender results announced by London Buses reveal that Go Ahead subsidiary Metrobus has lost five contracts to competitors.

Operation of routes 246, 354, and 356 will pass to Macquarie-owned Selkent, with a peak vehicle requirement of 15 new single deckers; route 434 passes to Travel London with a PVR of 3 new single deckers and route 466 moves to Arriva London South with a PVR of 16 double deckers.

However, Metrobus has won operation of route 293 from Epsom Coaches’ Quality...
