Straiton park-and-ride, Midlothian

The Straiton park-and-ride, just south of the A720 Edinburgh city bypass, has opened. The 600-space site includes CCTV, a staffed building with a ticket office, toilets, and seating. A four-minute-frequency peak-hour bus service, including an express service, runs to the city centre. Straiton is the sixth park-and-ride site serving Edinburgh – the others not shown on the map (above) are at Newcraighall and Ferrytoll.
