Bob Coombes has left his role as managing director of Scarborough-based bus and coach manufacturer Plaxton following a restructuring exercise by its parent Alexander Dennis.
Coombes joined Plaxton last August following his exit from Leeds-based Optare after its reverse take-over by Darwen Group. He had joined Optare as group managing director in April 2004.
