Ministers explain eco-town choice

The Government has not ruled out further eco-towns being added to the list of four sites that were named earlier this month.

The four sites chosen are:

Whitehill-Bordon (Hampshire): Located on the A325 corridor, the transport strategy is expected to include a link to the rail network by bus rapid transit or tram.

Rackheath (Norfolk): The Department for Communities and Local Government says it has good rail access but issues still have to be resolved on “roads and sustainable...
