ASLEF deal sees National Express East Anglia strike action cancelled

Strike action planned for tomorrow at National Express East Anglia by members of the ASLEF union has been suspended after the train operator offered a new deal.

The move comes as ASLEF, the RMT and the TSSA began a third 48-hour stoppage this morning.

Commenting on the deal, Andrew Chivers, managing director of NXEA, said: “We’re pleased to be able to advise our customers that the industrial action by the ASLEF union has been suspended. We will endeavour to run the best service...
