The Highways Agency has made a Preferred Routes Announcement on its options for the M1 junctions 11 and 12 capacity improvements. Exit slip roads at junctions 11 (Dunstable) will be widened and improvements made to the entry slip roads and the existing A505 roundabout. At junction 12 (Toddington) a new slip road will be provided to the north of the junction and a new bridge built over the M1.
