More than 3,000 people have volunteered to take part in an electric vehicle trial in Birmingham and Coventry to be launched later this month.
The CABLED (Coventry and Birmingham Low Emission Demonstrators) project will test 110 vehicles in the two cities. It was one of eight low carbon vehicle demonstrator projects selected by the Government’s Technology Strategy Board this summer (LTT?3 Jul). CABLED received the largest share (£7m) of the £25m available.
