Plans to create 90 parking spaces on verges near Mount Snowdon have been approved by Gwynedd County Council.
What is being referred to a “linear car park” would be built at Pen-Y-Gwryd to handle overspill for people unable to park at Pen-Y-Pass. The plans have received the backing of the National Park Authority. The car park would be built using ‘grasscrete’ to minimise the visual impact of the bays, said the council.
