Hackney council has successfully prosecuted three drivers for blue badge fraud, the first to be taken to court since it set up its anti-fraud team.
The London borough set up the team last July, and said that a series of prosecutions against blue badge cheats were now being prepared.
On 20 January the three drivers pleaded guilty to charges of misusing blue badges at Thames Magistrates Court in Bow.
