Drainage must be sustainable

Wide-ranging requirements for surface water drainage are included in the Flood and Water Management Act 2010, which received Royal Assent on 8 April. The new legislation has implications for all construction work and extends beyond the scope of planning law, says Interpave, the precast concrete paving association.
