Last month we featured the famous bus shelter in the Shetland community of Unst that has developed a reputation for being Britain’s most luxurious.
However, New Transit reader David Hurdle believes that a shelter in Fowey in Cornwall could give Unst a run for its money. Inside it seems locals have given a country cottage makeover to the mundane structure with a comfy looking wicker chair, throw, side table and Van Gogh-style mural. As our correspondent rightly notes, why can’t more communities adopt their local bus shelter? It happens in the rail industry after all.
So have any other readers spotted similarly luxuriously appointed structures? Email us at ed.transit@landor.co.uk
